The Community Cleanup!
Who: Reed & Eastmoreland residents only (be prepared to show ID)
When: Saturday July 11 8am - 2pm
Where: Duniway School Playground, 7700 S.E. Reed College Place
Cost: $5.00 to $25.00, depending on load size
What: Bring trash, yard debris, waste wood,bulky waste, scrap metal, reusables, tires, non-freon appliances, dirt-free plastic garden pots, Margarine, yogurt and clam shell type containers
<No food or hazardous waste - paints, solvents, pesticides, motor oil, household chemicals, batteries, etc.>
Volunteers are needed! Help unload materials and spend time with your neighbors. If you would like to volunteer for a 3 hour shift (8am - 11am or 11am - 2pm), please call or email Aubrie Abbott (aubergine1@mac.com, 503.810.2907). Refreshments provided.
Boundaries
On the West: the railroad tracks (approximately SE 23rd Ave);
On the North: SE Holgate Avenue (south side of the street)
On the East: SE 39th Avenue (West side of the street) between Holgate Blvd and Woodstock Blvd.
On the South: between the railroad tracks East on SE Reedway, South on SE 28th Ave, along Eastmoreland Golf Course to Woodstock Blvd. On the South side of Reed College property (Woodstock Blvd.) East to SE 39th Ave, North to SE Holgate Blvd. The Reed NA shares the Reed College Campus with the Eastmoreland NA.

Given the strong feelings on either side of this issue the Board has chosen not take an offical stand on behalf of the neighborhood. However, we strongly encourage individual neighbors to let their opinions be known to the city council. For more information on the issues here are links to either side of the issue.
Meeting Information
General Meetings:
The Reed Neighborhood Association meets on the third Thursday in February, May and October at 7PM, Reedwood Friends Church, 2901 SE Steele.
Board Meetings:
The Reed Neighborhood Association Board meets on the third Tuesday in January, March, April, June, September and November at 6:30 PM, Reed College Campus, Elliot Hall, room 216.
